Who invented WWW?
Most of sources states that invention of World Wide Web had place in 1989, which is not entirely wrong as in March 1989 (History of the Web, 2022) Tim Berners-Lee present vision of what would become the web in a document called “Information Management: A Proposal” It did not meet firstly with approval from Berners-Lee employer Mike Sendall who called project “Vague but exciting” (History of the Web, 2022). However, the three fundamental technologies that remain the foundation of today’s web were written by October 1990. Those three technologies are:
HTML HyperText Markup Language
URI Uniform Rescource Identifier
HTTP Hypertext Transger Protocol
By the end of 1990 the first web page was served on the open internet and in 1991 people outside of CERN were invited to join new online community.
Who invented E-commerce?
In 1979 Michael Aldrich (Saravanan, 2015) connected a domestic television by telephone line to a real-time transaction processing computer and he called his invention a teleshopping. Today it is called online shopping, e-commerce or e-business and it is a fast-growing worldwide multi-billion-dollar business.
